Fourth-graders during Golda Meir School used their Danish and proudly reason a country’s dwindle Wednesday as they ready for their annual outing to Denmark in April.

“I’m many vehement to see my hosts and accommodate other people there,” fourth-grader Katherine Thompson said.

But this prolonged tradition roughly didn’t occur after Milwaukee Public Schools canceled all abroad transport after a militant attacks in Paris final year.

“We were unequivocally bummed. We didn’t know if we could still go on a trip,” fourth-grader Allison Brennan said.

The relatives are assured this outing will be one of a lifetime.

Milwaukee Public Schools orator Tony Tagliavia emailed WISN 12 News a matter that reads in part, “This is a non-school-sponsored trip. Our preference per abroad transport was done with a seductiveness of students’ reserve inaugural in mind. We continue to guard a conditions as we cruise destiny general travel. we am not wakeful of any other confirmed, parent-led trips that are scheduled during this time.”

There is a fundraiser for a children during Discovery World on Friday. They have to come adult with $50,000 to financial this trip.
