Kurds contend take control of Iraq’s Kirkuk oilfields


Arbil, Iraq, Jul 11 (Reuters) – Kurdish army have taken
full control of a Kirkuk oilfields in northern Iraq from
Baghdad, a comparison source in a Kurdistan Regional Government
(KRG) pronounced on Friday.

“The KRG was forced to act to strengthen Iraq’s infrastructure
after training of attempts by Iraq oil method officials to
sabotage it,” pronounced a comparison KRG source on condition of
anonymity.

“From now on it will be underneath KRG control and we expect
operations to start adult soon,” adding army of a KRG’s Oil
Protection Force had changed in on Friday.

The source pronounced that a Iraq Oil Ministry had designed to
sabotage a new tube that was underneath construction to link
Kirkuk’s 3 categorical oil fields, dual of that were previously
operated by a executive government-controlled North Oil Company.

The inhabitant oil method in Baghdad cursed a takeover
at Kirkuk and called on a Kurds to repel immediately to
avoid “dire consequences”.
