Great news! Salesforce is holding a uber discussion in San Francisco called Dreamforce. It will be an eventuality packaged with celebrities, keynote speeches, cloud computing — even a million dollar “hackathon” foe before a eventuality kicks off. But wait, wasn’t there a gossip about a fraudulent hackathon final year? A Salesforce.com hackathon?

Yep. In fact, many competitors were so angry about final year’s hackathon, Salesforce.com awarded a second “first place winner” to still a grumbling and tongue-tied a bad press. So, to all winners of this year’s event, we wish it wasn’t too eventful.

In IT Blogwatch, bloggers find good contingency in Las Vegas.

Filling in for a common blogwatcher Richi Jennings, is a humbler Stephen Glasskeys.

Chris Kanaracus tells us no malarkus: [Ahem. - Ed.]

[At] Salesforce.com’s Dreamforce eventuality in San Francisco…CEO Marc Benioff and luminary guest will reason onward before an approaching 140,000 attendees.

There will positively be a engorgement of announcements about height enhancements…it’s a protected gamble that mobile applications will be a concentration of these.  MORE

David DeMar describes da event:

Global cloud computing Salesforce is charity $1 million in prizes for a Hackathon to flog off a new Dreamforce event.   MORE

Shirley Siluk was a clever competitor:

The $1 Million Hackathon is set to start during 6 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, and will continue by noon Sunday.

Hackers will contest for prizes in 3 categories: Force.com mobile apps, Heroku mobile apps, and Force.com with Heroku mobile apps.  MORE

Then, Royce Beaudry gracefully drops names:

Among a many speakers who will beauty a stage. Few notable speakers embody Benioff- CEO of Dreamforce, musicians Neil Young and Will.I.Am, author and motivational orator Anthony Robins, former VP Al Gore and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Moreover Code.org co-founder and angel financier Hadi Partovi will also be present.  MORE

Meanwhile, Shira Ovide and Don Clark wear peculiar boots when pitching:

CEO Marc Benioff is a showman who never misses an event to representation both his business-software association and a Web-friendly cloud-computing proceed it helped pioneer. He even wears custom-designed Louboutin sneakers ornate with images of clouds.  MORE
