Though flagship smartphones have apparently stopped growing, many of them carrying 5 to 5.5-inch screens, there’s still a marketplace for incomparable devices, and Samsung is anticipating to squeeze some of it with a latest phablet, a Galaxy A9.
Following in a footsteps of a predecessor, a 5.7-inch Galaxy A8, a A9 is a slim, superb and vast smartphone, with specs that are a hair or dual weaker than those found in Samsung’s Galaxy S line of devices.

The Samsung Galaxy A9, that a association launched in China on Wednesday, does have several really critical improvements.
Besides a 6-inch, 1080p AMOLED shade (which might not be an alleviation for some), it also sports an huge (but non-removable), 4,000mAh battery, that should hopefully extend a phone’s battery life over a dreaded barely-one-day symbol we so mostly see in smartphones these days.
Other specs embody an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage (expandable around microSD cards adult to 128GB in size), and a 13-megapixel camera on a behind and an 8-megapixel selfie cam.
All of these goodies are pressed into a potion and steel box that’s only 0.29 inches thin, and even yet that’s utterly a bit fatter than a Galaxy A8′s 0.23-inch skinny profile, it’s still flattering good for such a vast phone.
The phone will be accessible in China after this month; pricing and general accessibility have not been announced.
The Galaxy A9 joins a recently annoucned Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 (not to be confused with older models of a same name — Samsung points out a disproportion by fixation a “2016″ description subsequent to their names), that are already accessible in China.
The 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch phones both underline a same steel pattern and similar specs, yet have most smaller batteries — 2,900mAh and 3,300mAh, respectively. International accessibility has not been announced, yet a cost in China is 2,398 yuan ($370) for a A5 and 2,699 yuan ($417) for a A7.
