UPDATE 1-Russia’s Putin tells Obama he wants improved ties – Kremlin

MOSCOW, Jul 4 (Reuters) – Russian President Vladimir Putin
called for improved family with a United States on Friday in
a congratulatory summary to President Barack Obama imprinting U.S.
Independence Day.

Relations are during their lowest lessen in years, soured by
disagreements over a conflicts in Ukraine and Syria and by
differences on tellurian rights and democracy. Both are
veto-weilding members of a United Nations Security Council.

“The conduct of a Russian state voiced wish that … ties
between a dual countries will rise successfully on a basis
of pragmatism and equivalence notwithstanding problems and
disagreements,” a Kremlin pronounced in a statement.

“Vladimir Putin also highlighted that Russia and a United
States, as countries carrying well-developed shortcoming for
safeguarding general fortitude and security, should
cooperate not usually in a interests of their possess nations but
also a whole world,” it said.

The United States has tempered a team-work with Russia and
imposed sanctions on some Russian firms and people over
Moscow’s purpose in Ukraine following Russia’s cast of the
Crimea peninsula from Ukraine.

Washington has also threatened to levy some-more sanctions on
Russia over what it regards as Moscow’s support for a separatist
rebellion in easterly Ukraine.

Moscow denies orchestrating a overthrow and accuses
Washington of perplexing to enclose a former Cold War rivalry to try
to continue what Moscow regards as U.S. hegemony.
